The AIS provides High Performance funding and support to CombatAUS and Performance Pathway funding and support to our Member Sports.
CombatAUS is a purely High Performance focussed organisation, aiming to deliver sustained international success.
Each Member Sport is responsible for developing and promoting their sport in Australia.
The CombatAUS team comprises a CEO, High Performance Director, Coaches and Technical Leads, as well as Wellbeing, Pathways, Performance and Operations staff.
The CombatAUS National Performance Centre (NPC) supports our Judo and Taekwondo athletes to become world class. The NPC provides targeted technical and performance support in a competitive environment to prepare athletes for international success.
The Australian Olympic Committee recognises the NPC as an Olympic Training Centre which plays a critical role in preparing athletes for international level success. The NPC has a once-yearly intake of athletes who are provided a full-time, world class, technical training environment.
